Welcome to the webpage of the Wood and Furniture Design & Technology Department.

The Department of Wood & Furniture Design and Technology, which is part of the Technological & Educational Institute (TEI) of Larissa, is based in Karditsa, Greece. The first semester was kicked off in the winter of 1999.

The scientific fields which are covered through the studies in our Department include wood science and technology, furniture production technology and furniture design, all done in compliance with the social rules and with respect to the environment. Our Department is unique in Greece.

The mission of the Department is to promote the spread and growth of knowledge in the areas of wood science and technology, furniture production technology and furniture design through teaching and applied research, as well as to provide students with a high level of technological training and knowledge for their own benefit and potential future employment.
